How the HabitList app is changing my life and making me more productive

I’m a big fan of creating good habits. Specifically I love creating habits around personal productivity. HabitList is the app that helps me do that. There are a lot of habit building apps out there, and many of them are good (I have tried them all), but I like HabitList because it’s simple and to the point.

Here are some of the things I love about this app:

  • It’s a simple list of the habits that you want to create each day. Once you do that task for that day you just cross it off. About midway through the day it looks like this:
  •
  • You can create tasks that occur daily, weekly, four times a week, whatever.
  • HabitList tracks your success rate,  so you can use the don’t break the chain method to help you remain motivated to keep going  with the habit. It will even tell you what percentage of the time you completed a habit within a given week or month.
  • You can set reminders to go off if you want to create a habit at a particular time of day.

If you want to create good habits, then you need a way to remember them and track your progress. This is an excellent way to do that.
