I lead two groups that I am constantly working on teaching good habits; my kids and my employees. With my kids, teaching them good habits reduces the workload for the whole family and improves the quality of all our lives. With my employees, teaching them good habits improves the quality of our work and reduces the time it takes us to complete a project.
As much as I obsess over creating good habits for myself and executing them, I realize that most people don’t think that way. So as a leader in my family and my company one of the biggest parts of my job is to teach those I lead good habits. It benefits them personally and benefits the rest of us as well.
