Goal for the week: Ask better questions

One of my goals for this week is to ask better questions and listen intently to the response. Anyone can ask a question, but few ask insightful ones. Insightful questions are the ones that demonstrate that you are listening, understanding and applying thought to what is being discussed.
I want to ask better questions of my wife to show her that I love her and want to care for her. I want to ask better questions of my friends to really know how they are doing beyond the "I'm good, how are you" answer. I want to ask better question of my clients so that I can better understand their needs and help them.
Better questions equal better understanding and communication. Where understanding and communication increase, everyone wins.
