A few weeks ago I read an interesting article about how to want very little. It got me thinking about how much I have, how much I want, and what I should do about it. For example, I realized that I have a closet with plenty of clothes and that I only wear about 10% of them.
I read another article recently about someone who got down to just 50 personal items that they owned. Think about that, just having 50 things that are yours! It’s hard for me to imagine that level of simplicity and freedom, but I’m drawn to it.
I’m considering wanting less, having less, and thinking through what to do about it. I think my first step will be to get rid of a lot of clothes. After that, who knows what will go next.
How about you, have you considering wanting less? If so, what did you do about it? I would love to know your story.
